The Lord has placed us in a good land and has blessed us. In Deuteronomy, God told His people to not forget the Lord, and to remember how He blessed them. We can easily forget that the Lord is the one that helps people and nations prosper and grow. We can remember the Lord through our praise, our obedience to Him, and our gifts to him. When we see God as the source of our blessings, then the spiritually consistent response is to be generous towards Him. We are blessed because of the Lord, so we will be humble, grateful and give Him our thanks!
