Parenting is a non-stop endeavor, and some days you just wish you could have a bit of a break. Our Kid’s Day Out program will give you a weekly dose of calm, while your kids enjoy a day full of their favorite activities.

The Program

Kid’s Day Out is designed for children three months through Pre-K and includes:

Quality care in an energetic, nurturing environment
A balance of active teaching and quiet activities
Crafts
Recreation
Storytime
Music
Lunch (from home) and snacks

Schedule

9:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. Tuesdays or Wednesdays
Tuesday: 3 months – pre-K
Wednesdays : 3 months – pre-K

Enrollment & Fees

Fall/Spring
There is a $60 non-refundable enrollment fee for EACH child. Tuition is due on the first of every month. There are nine monthly payments in total.

$85/month for one child
$160/month for two children
$235/month for three children
$310/month for four children

Frequent Questions

What should I bring?

Items to help your child feel comfortable. Diapers, bottles, pacifiers, extra clothing, and so on. Please label all of your child’s belongings with their name—including diapers.

Lunch. A nutritious, easily prepared (and easily eaten) lunch and drink. If necessary, please cut food into small, bite-size pieces so your child can enjoy lunch unassisted. Keep in mind that a refrigerator and microwave are available only in the nursery, and we are a nut-free church.

Does cost change month to month?

At the Eastminster Kids Day Out program, we strive to provide a loving, safe, and affordable program for our families. We break down our annual operating cost per child into nine monthly installment payments, and we now have a preferred option for online automatic recurring payments. Monthly payments do not directly reflect days of care in that month (some may have five days, or some only two), but the averaged monthly payment keeps your bill a consistent amount that is always due the first of each month for convenient personal budgeting.

Are you peanut-free?

Yes! Peanut allergies can be extremely dangerous, and Eastminster Church has a strict, no-nut policy for our children’s programs. Please refrain from including in your child’s lunch any foods with nuts of any kind. This includes most chocolate candies like M&M’s. Please carefully read ingredient lists to help us keep our little ones safe.

What happens if I'm running late for pick-up?

We strictly enforce our 1:15pm pick-up time to ensure the well being and security of your children. You’ll be assessed a fee of $5 after the first 15 minutes you’re late and $1 for every minute thereafter. The fee will be added to your monthly charge.
