About Theology for Life
Theology for Life is a transformative church theology conference hosted by Eastminster Presbyterian Church featuring insightful presentations by Dr. David Briones. Over the course of six enlightening days, delve into the depths of theology In God’s revealed Word to better understand why true knowledge of God is essential for all other knowledge.
Our Resident Theologian: Dr. David Briones
October 15 – 21 | Eastminster Church
Dr. Briones, born and raised in California, is a highly accomplished scholar and teacher. He holds a M.Div. from Talbot School of Theology and a Ph.D. in New Testament from Durham University. He has taught Greek, New Testament, Biblical Backgrounds, and Biblical Theology at various institutions, including Westminster Theological Seminary and Reformation Bible College. He has authored Paul’s Financial Policy: A Socio-Theological Approach, edited volumes, and published articles in esteemed journals. He is currently working on a commentary for the International Theological Commentary series. An ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. and currently an Associate Professor of New Testament at Westminster Seminary California. Dr. Briones and his wife, Mindy also have four children.
