Facing New Year Uncertainties
We can anticipate the future with our planners and calendars, but we can’t see the future and don’t know what it holds. What do we do when we face a life of uncertainty? In the text, Israel faced overthrowing fortified cities with an untrained army. God reassured the Israelites and told them that He would be with them and that He would give them the land. God is with us today as well, and when God tells us to go, He will be with us while we fulfill his command.
