Greece Update #5

It is a joy and a privilege to serve the global worker families who have arrived travel-weary here in Marathon, Greece! Since we’ve had a bit of time to shake off our own jet lag, we can be the fresh arms that grab their luggage and get plates for their kids at the buffet and play and create with them in the mornings while their parents hear a message of encouragement. The kiddos are energetic, flexible and caring. Today we talked about how God made each one of them as a unique creation, and they designed their own family coats of arms. Regardless of where they have spent most of their time, there are so many sweet things that bring smiles, from cute stickers to Legos and from story time to Star Wars trivia. They make friends quickly, love fiercely and laugh freely.
