About Gail Goolsby
Gail holds master’s degrees in Professional Counseling and Educational Leadership. She has over 25 years educational experience as teacher, school counselor, and principal, including the K-12 American school in Afghanistan. Her award-winning book Unveiled Truth: Lessons I Learned Leading the International School of Kabul details the experience with challenging applications for all readers.

Gail started Learn to Live Well counseling and life coaching services in St. Joseph in 2013, becoming a ICF (International Coaching Federation) certified coach and believing there is support and encouragement in God’s Word to help us all. She became the Director of the Mid-America Region for American Home Life International (AHLI), a homestay program that places international high school students with Christian host families while they attend schools in the US.

In February 2015, Gail and Michael relocated to Wichita for him to serve as a pastor at Eastminster. In addition to her own clients, she now serves as a remote behavioral coach with AbleTo, a telehealth company out of New York City, helping participants make necessary changes for better health and overall life satisfaction. She writes for Just Between Us, a Christian women’s magazine founded by Jill Briscoe, and also provides devotionals for Thrive Ministries for Global Women Workers.

Gail and her pastor husband have been married 44 years and have three grown children, two sons-in-law, and five spunky grandchildren. They live where the wind blows over the prairie in south central Kansas and there really is no place like home.
