We’re partnering with Youth Horizons to provide gifts for at-risk kids who need not only the joy of receiving a Christmas present, but also to know they are valued, loved and prayed for. On Sunday, November 13, stop by The Giving Tree in the lobby and choose the name of a child to bless with Christmas gifts. Then, shop for the gifts on their list (between $40-50), wrap them, and return them to church along with a personal note. Return the wrapped gifts to the church by Sunday, November 27. We also have the opportunity to bless the parents of these children through a $10 gift card per family. We can’t wait to see how God uses these simple acts of giving to impact the hearts of kids here in Wichita!

The Giving Tree
1. November 13 – Choose the name of a child (or parent) from The Giving Tree at church. Each child has shared a few ideas of things they would like to receive.
2. Spend no more than $50 and no less than $40 on gifts for each child. (We recommend that you buy at least two gifts for each child.)
3. Wrap the gifts (they can be wrapped separately or in the same packaging).
4. Put the first name and last initial on each gift as provided by the profile.
5. Write a note to the child and attach it to a gift or place it inside; this step is essential and a great way to let the child know they are loved by Jesus and being prayed for.
6. Return the gifts to the church no later than Sunday, November 27.

Please shop for gifts that match the interests listed on the profile of the child you are sponsoring. Remember that some of the older kids like gift certificates and gift cards. All kids love candy!
