We are thrilled that some of our friends from The Oaks congregation, Jeanvier and Seline, are in the process of building a house with Habitat for Humanity. Jeanvier and Seline are wonderful people with five beautiful children and the house will be such a blessing to them! Eastminster’s Relief Team from Local Missions is organizing build days on three Saturdays. The (tentative) work scheduled is listed by each date, though they will only assign you tasks you feel comfortable doing.

• Saturday, April 13 – Sheet Roof, Apply Underlayment, and Interior Prep Work, Interior framing
• Saturday, May 18 – Painting Doors/Trim, Drywall final touches and spot sanding, Interior Prime, Interior Paint
• Saturday, June 1 – Flooring, Countertops, Set Interior Doors, Trim, Closet Shelving

The work day is from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (lunch provided) and you must be 16 or over to work. We need at least eight people each day, and could use up to 15.
