Lent is a journey of mercy, where we deepen our relationship with God and our neighbor. This year, Eastminster will hold a food and formula drive for two of our partners, Union Rescue Mission & Embrace of Wichita. URM’s mission is helping homeless and hurting people restore their lives through God’s love. It is the largest emergency shelter for homeless men in Kansas, providing more than 100,000 meals a year. Embrace envisions the day when all women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families in Jesus Christ. Please bring these non-perishable food items to the church and place in the collection bins March 20 – April 3. Let’s meet the needs of the hungry, both young and old!
