Event Details

Saturday, February 24, 1 – 3 p.m.; Great Room

Join us for the release of Whitney Coleman Pipkin’s first book, We Shall All Be Changed: How
Facing Death with Loved Ones Transforms Us.

Growing up at Eastminster, Whitney attended and served faithfully. Now she and her husband and three children live in northern Virginia. Whitney is an accomplished journalist, Bible study leader, and retreat speaker. We Shall All Be Changed will be released by Moody Press in early February, and is a reflection on grief, the passing of her mother, Cheryl Yavornitzki, and the comforting love of God the Father.

Beautifully written and theologically rich, Whitney reveals the mysterious way that God ministers to and transforms us through death and suffering. As Whitney draws from her own experience, she sheds light and hope, reminding us that we can experience God’s very presence in life’s dark and deep valleys. Assuring us that we are not alone, Whitney reaches across the pages to hold the hand of the reader and point to the one who gives comfort and hope. She invites us to consider death in order to understand life and how to truly live it.

You can pre-order a book using the link below through Watermark Books. Please leave a note in the comments to specify that you would like the book to be at the”Eastminster Book Launch”.

Whitney will give a short reading from the book, tell her story, and sign books. Whitney’s sister, Alli Coleman Casey, will also bless us with her musical skills during the event. Come and celebrate God’s faithfulness
