Let’s bless the students and staff at Washington Elementary with brand-new school supplies to help them start the school year strong! The lists of needed and not-needed supplies for the 2026-27 school year are below. You can drop off donations in the church lobby between July 26 and August 9.
School Supplies Needed:
- #2 pencils (Ticonderoga brand preferred)
- 24 box crayons (Crayola brand preferred)
- Clorox wipes
- Colored markers (any number)
- Colored pencils (any number)
- Dry erase markers
- Gallon size bags
- Glue sticks (not bottles)
- Highlighters (thick or thin)
- Kleenex or tissue paper
- Scissors (all sizes)
- Sharpies (all colors/sizes
- Sidewalk chalk (for recess)
- Sticky Notes
- Snacks (bulk size)
Not Needed (at this time):
- Backpacks
- Liquid Glue
- Looseleaf paper
- Paint
- Rulers
- Spiral notebooks

Join us as we show the love of Jesus to the Washington Elementary community by volunteering at their Open House, with 500 students, parents and staff in attendance. We’ve been invited to help with fun games for the children. The Missions Office will provide the food and supplies – we just need your help to volunteer!
Volunteer to help prepare hot dogs and sides and play games/activities with kids at Washington Elementary’s open house.
Wear a red shirt or your #WeLoveWashington shirt.

November 15-22 (dates may shift)
We’re partnering with Youth Horizons again this year to provide gifts for at-risk kids in the community. We want them to experience the joy of receiving a Christmas present, and to know they are valued, loved and prayed for.
Here are the easy steps:
– Stop by The Giving Tree in the lobby Nov 15th or 22nd (before and after services) and choose the name of a child to bless with Christmas gifts.
– Shop for the gifts on their list (minimum $50)
– Wrap them
– Return them to church along with a personal note/Christmas card.
