What to Expect

Eastminster is a dynamic group of about 1,200 people that attend church each Sunday. Our congregation includes people of all ages and backgrounds, and we offer classes and programs to fit a wide range of needs.

You will see a variety of clothing in the congregation, and the dress is usually more conservative at the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services and more casual at the 11 a.m. service. At our 5 p.m. worship experience, ekklesia, most people wear jeans or shorts. We want you to be comfortable while you’re here, so please feel free to dress as you wish.

Eastminster offers both traditional and contemporary services, and each one is unique. During the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services, the pastors wear robes and the service is traditional and liturgical. At 11 a.m. the service is contemporary, and the pastors dress casually instead of wearing robes. Our 5 p.m. service, ekklesia, is the newest worship experience at Eastminster and the atmosphere is definitely casual. If you enjoy rock-based worship, an avant garde church experience and loving Christ and others, then ekklesia is for you!

You will receive a worship bulletin as you enter the Sanctuary or Chapel, and ushers can help you find a seat. In all services, the pastor will encourage the congregation to greet everyone sitting around them, but you’ll never be singled out as a visitor. During the time of giving, you only need to give if you feel led to do so.
