New Here?

If you’re new to Eastminster, welcome. We’re happy to have you! Eastminster is a gospel-centered, people-loving, Evangelical Presbyterian church. Just like every person has his or her own personality and style, so do churches. Below is information to help you get to know our church’s “style.”

Worship Services

Each of Eastminster’s three worship services includes the same essential elements, such as worship through music, a powerful message and prayer. Our Sunday worship services start at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m., and each service includes the same dynamic and relevant message, but has a slightly different style. The services begin on time, and the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services last about an hour, while the 11 a.m. service lasts a bit over an hour.

  • The 8 a.m. service is held in the Chapel, located on the north side of the building, and is a traditional worship service including organ and the singing of hymns.
  • The 9:30 service is held in the Sanctuary, located on the west side of the building, just off the main lobby area. This service features traditional worship including the Eastminster Chancel Choir, organ and the singing of hymns.
  • The 11 a.m. service is held in the Sanctuary as well, and features contemporary worship led by our worship team.

What to Expect

Eastminster is a dynamic group of about 800 people who attend church each Sunday. Our congregation includes people of all ages and backgrounds, and we offer classes and programs to fit a wide range of life stages. We hope you'll feel welcomed and loved from the moment you set foot on campus!

You will see a variety of clothing in the congregation, and the dress is usually more conservative at the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services and more casual at the 11 a.m. service. We want you to be comfortable while you’re here, so please feel free to dress as you wish.

Eastminster offers both traditional and contemporary services, and each one is unique. During the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services, the pastors wear robes and the service is traditional and liturgical. At 11 a.m. the service is contemporary, and the pastors dress casually instead of wearing robes.

You will receive a worship bulletin as you enter the service, and ushers can help you find a seat. In all services, the pastor will encourage the congregation to greet everyone sitting around them, but you’ll never be singled out as a visitor. During the time of giving, you only need to give if you feel led to do so.

Arrival & Parking

Eastminster is located on Webb Road, between 13th and 21st streets. On your first visit, it is best to arrive about 15 minutes early, or 30 minutes early if you would like your child to attend a children’s or youth program. Nursery is available during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. hours.

You may park anywhere you wish in the lot, and please feel free to use our designated visitor parking, located on the south side of the church.

Classes & Programs

Sunday morning groups and classes are available for adults, youth and children. Stop by the welcome desks located in the main lobby and our guest services volunteers will be happy to help you choose classes that are right for every member of your family. Adult and children’s classes coincide with both the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services, while middle school and high school meet only at 9:30 a.m.

For Kids

9:30 a.m.: Although kids may attend church with their families, this is our primary hour for grade-specific Christian education that nurtures the faith of kids. Come learn how the Bible is one big story centered on Jesus. LEARN MORE >>
