At Eastminster, one of our values is GENERATION TO GENERATION. Because we believe in a vibrant, multigenerational church who learns from one another, we want to provide the opportunity to gather, connect and simply be together. The Gathering is a one-time dinner for a small group of people hosted in a home. Those in the group may be in the same or different lifestage as you, and the evening will be one of conversation and connection. Your host will provide a main dish – just bring a side to share. Your host will contact you with more details closer to The Gathering. Questions? Contact Louisa Markley at email@example.com or 634.0337.
How will groups be chosen?
The heart behind The Gathering is to see the generations come together. Our team will group participants with others in both similar stages of life, and those who may be in other stages. Don't worry - we'll be very mindful of group dynamics like those with small children, single adults, etc. Our hope is that you can meet and get to know those you may not have met yet at Eastminster.
Are children allowed to attend?
Yes! If you are bringing children fifth grade or under, we will have a middle school student available at the host home to help with them. Kids are more than welcome, but we also want parents to be able to enjoy this time of conversation and connection while their kids are being cared for. Your host can provide more details on the schedule for the evening and any activities for kids.
What if I have a dietary restriction or other needs?
Just let us know on your registration and we will make sure you're accommodated!
Do I need to bring anything?
Your host will contact you closer to the event with final details and ask you to bring a side dish to share.
