How Do I Get Involved at Eastminster?
To start volunteering, contact Warren Snyder at 634.0337, ect. 242, or email@example.com.
Why does the author of Ecclesiastes say “the day of one’s death is better than the day of one’s birth"? It is because at our own death we can look back and see what we have accomplished, whereas our birth is only the beginning with no evidence of any satisfaction of a job well done. The spiritual gifts God gives us are the key to our contribution in the lives of those around us. We are significant because we are made in the image of God and because God loves us. We are also significant to the church because we have gifts given to us to be used to serve others. Our spiritual gifts impact the lives of those around us and as a result, we are enriched ourselves. Exercising your gifts contributes to victorious Christian living. You are fearfully and wonderfully (and I might add, uniquely) made so that no one else can do what you do at Eastminster.
There are many gifts listed in Romans 12:6-8, I Cor. 12:8-10, Eph. 4: 11,12 and I Pet. 4: 10. Our Uniquely You class is the place to learn about your spiritual gifts and how to use them.
