Eastminster Family Reunion

August 15, one worship service & Annual Meeting at 10 a.m., brown bag picnic at 11:30 a.m.
Reunite with the family on August 15 as Eastminster comes together as one church body to worship and play. We’ll answer God’s calling to glorify our Father with one heart and mouth (Romans 15:4-6) as we share in one worship service at 10 a.m. in the Sanctuary, which will include our Annual Meeting. Then we’ll enjoy a picnic and games on the lawn. It’s fun for the whole family and you may just meet some Eastminster brothers and sisters you didn’t know you had! We’ll mingle, mix and have a ball as we reunite to worship, play and spend the day as a family in Christ. Be sure to bring a brown bag lunch (water and ice cream provided), blankets and chairs, and your friends and family! Learn more at eastminster.org/familyreunion.

Town Hall Series with Tony Campolo

August 29, 7:30 p.m., Sanctuary

All over the world — and in our community — people are lonely, hungry, sick, struggling to make ends meet, bitter, imprisoned, dying. Who will make a difference? Who will change the world? Is it the government? Or the Church? Jesus calls us to creatively and courageously share the good news by loving our neighbor.

Tony Campolo headlines our 2010 Town Hall event and challenges us all to consider how God designed for the needy to be cared for. Click here for details about this free event.
