Second Sunday

Eastminster features special presentations from some of our supported missionaries on the second Sunday of the month following the 11 a.m. service in the Fireside Room. There is no cost to attend these events, but donations are accepted to help cover expenses. Reservations for the meal are due by the Wednesday before each luncheon. Our Second Sunday missionaries will include our own Chad Edwards and Billy Boyle, who work with Young Life International. We will also have Matt Shepherd, Director of Young Life – Wichita, and Bill Vann, who works with the Young Life Urban Ministry here in Wichita. Learn the differences in the various positions that these men serve in with Young Life locally and around the world. Great things are happening, and you won’t want to miss being part of the plan.

Our Second Sunday missionary will be Randy Fontaine, National Director of Christ for the City International (CFCI). CFCI is an international missions organization committed to serving others in the name of Christ. They have more than 330 missions workers in 17 countries serving through 70 different ministries! Their God-given mission is helping people transform cities by transforming lives. Their vision is that there would be no place without a witness, no church without a vision, and no person without hope.
