It is our privilege to walk with you in this exciting journey of raising your child for Christ. Our experienced nursery staff pledges to take loving care of your baby and make you and your child feel safe and secure.
Location
Our cheerful, well-equipped nursery is conveniently located in B-16, near the center of the Children’s Wing.
Nursery Hours
We provide nursery care for newborns through 24 months each Sunday for worship at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. ekklesia, and Wednesday evening for EDGE from 6:30 to 7:30. We also offer care by reservation for Hannah Circle and other special events. Check the bulletin for additional times and details.
First Visit
If you would like to tour the nursery before your first visit, please call Children's Ministries at 634.0337, ext. 215. This is a great time to ask any questions that may concern you about the care of your baby.
What to Bring
Be sure to bring two diapers marked with your child’s name, labeled bottle or baby food as needed, a change of clothes, labeled sippy cup, pacifiers, diaper bag plus any items your child may be using.
Check In
When you arrive, our staff will ask you to sign in on the attendance sheet. Your baby will be added to our white board and assigned a permanent number for our paging system. You will be given a laminated security card with that number. Be sure to have the security card ready when picking up your child. Your child will have the same number until he or she “graduates” to the toddler program. If you have not already done so, be sure to fill out a registration card so that we will have current information about your child.
Paging System
If we need you to return to the nursery, your pager number will appear in the black monitors located in the Sanctuary (above the exit signs), our adult “C” classrooms, Fellowship Hall and the Fireside Room. Parents will be paged if the following conditions occur: a baby becomes ill, a baby is inconsolable for over 15 minutes, or as deemed necessary.
Allergies
Please let us know if your child has an allergy. If you’d like to bring your older baby a snack, remember that we are a peanut- and nut-free church.
Health Policy
We ask that parents do not bring sick children to the nursery. A child must be fever free for 24 hours to be admitted into the nursery.
Convenience Services
If you need to nurse your baby while you are here, a private room is available in the back of the nursery for your use. We also provide a sleeping room if you wish to have your infant in a quiet place.
We’re Here for You
Your baby is very important to us. The Director of Childen's Ministries is available to answer your questions and make sure your child is properly cared for in our program. Feel free to call us at 634.0337 if you have any questions.
