In Ephesians, the apostle Paul explains the wonderful things we have received through Christ and points out the nature and purpose of the church, the body of Christ. As we read this masterful description of the church, we can thank God for the diversity and unity in his family, pray for our brothers and sisters, and draw close to those in our church.
Psalms of Life: His Faithful Class
Emily Harder and Linda Greer; C-13/14
At the center of the Bible is the book of Psalms. This great collection of songs and prayers expresses the heart and soul of humanity. In them, we find the whole range of human experiences as the psalmist writes of both struggle and joy. Our study will draw on six of the Psalms and relate them to our life today. This class begins February 19.
The Writings of John
Sam and Carol Amstutz; Parlor
The apostle John is the author of several books of the New Testament: The Gospel of John, the three letters of John and Revelation. As we read and study his story, we will commit ourselves to believe in and follow him with our lives.
