This year we have decided to stay in town for our annual Eastminster marriage retreat by participating in Family Life’s national Weekend to Remember marriage conference at the Hyatt Regency of Wichita, March 5 – 7.

Life has a way of overwhelming a marriage. You start out focused on each other. But as the years go by, the time you had to simply relax and talk gives way to busy schedules. And before you know it, checking your e-mail is more important than carving out a date night. The Weekend to Remember marriage conference is a chance to slow down and reconnect. It’s a time to rediscover each other and find more intimacy in your life together.

What to expect

When you arrive, we’ll help you step away from daily life and discover a warm, engaging environment that’s all about making progress in your marriage, not placing blame.

Our speakers will show you exactly how to pursue a marriage that really works through stories of their own breakthroughs and blunders. You’ll drive away with a road map to a great marriage. In just one weekend, you will discover how to work through your differences, improve communication and even rekindle romance!

We want you to leave the conference with encouragement, hope and practical tools to build and grow your relationship. That’s why we call this conference a Weekend to Remember.

How to register

The conference begins Friday, March 5, at 7 p.m. and meets 
until 10 p.m. We are back together again on Saturday, March 6, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 7, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost of $99 per couple does not include hotel room or meals. You are welcome to pay extra for a room at the Hyatt Regency or commute from home.
