What is your profession outside of Eastminster

I have worked in the computer/medical fields for 41 years. I have installed computers in doctor’s office all that time in all phases from developing programs, training and installing. I owned my business but merged with another company (Pulse Systems) 11 years ago. 

What leadership/volunteer positions in the community do you hold?

I am a member of several organizations involved with supporting Wichita State University,  i.e., Wichita Alumus Organization, All American Baseball Club.

Family information, hobbies, interests

Season ticket holder of WSU basketball, WSU baseball and Kansas State football. I have two grown sons who do a lot of outdoor activities (hunting and fishing). We attend some of the basketball, baseball and football games together. I have one sister; she lives in Tulsa, Okla. I grew up in Harlingen, Texas, joined the Air Force after high school, and came to Wichita, Kan., after serving in Vietnam in 1968-69. I have been here for over 41 years now.

Is there a Bible verse God is currently using in your life?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16  

It reminds me every day just how important everybody is to God and how much he loves us all.
