Safety and Check-in
Safety is important to us as families entrust their children to our care each week. Our trained staff and ministry teams are screened and have passed a background check. On your first visit, we’ll help you register your child. You can also complete the Family Information Form ahead of time online at eastminster.org/familyinfo. This helps us get to know your family, meet your needs and keep your little ones safe.
Room check-in begins 15 minutes before the start of each service and remains open throughout the service. Each classroom is equipped with an iPad which you will use to check in your child. Watch for more details on how to sign up for mobile check-in. Upon check-in you will receive a name tag for your child and a label for yourself. You will be required to present this label before the child will be returned to you. For security reasons, older children may not pick up a child under 5 years of age, even by presenting the label.
Please make sure all items your baby or child has are properly labeled (diapers, bottles, bags, pacifiers). If a child is upset and not able to be consoled after 10 minutes or we need your presence in your child’s room, we will notify you by text message and by posting the number on your child’s label in the digital black boxes located in the Sanctuary and adult classrooms.
Sundays July 8 – August 12
In the summer we focus on worshipping together as a family as we give our regular Kids teams a break before the fall semester. This also allows kids to be in worship with their parents and learn about corporate worship. Kids birth through Pre-K will have their own Bible and activity time at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in their rooms. Children who have completed K – second grade will be dismissed to Kids Worship after the kids sermon.
