What committee(s) do you serve on at Eastminster?

I am currently involved with and serve on the Computer Technology Committee and the Technical Ministries Committee.

What other positions do you hold at the church?

I am a deacon.

Which groups or ministries are you active in at the church?

My wife and I have been active participants in the planning and support of the Family Retreat, Chili Christmas and various other events. As an individual, I served alongside the church and other organizations to participate in and lead groups on numerous Habitat for Humanity builds, Serve & Celebrate and community outreach projects. As a personal services ministry to the church and families, I contribute my long-time love and talents as a photographer to regularly photograph various church events, new members and fellowship projects. I volunteer my time and materials in taking baptism pictures for the families of the church on Sundays.
 

What is your profession outside of Eastminster?

Employed at Cessna Aircraft Company, I am a member of the Advanced Technology Services group responsible for overseeing the design review process for approvals of all Cessna IT projects in accordance with Six Sigma.  Our team also provides software services administration and database support for the installation, maintenance, support and security of core applications and environments.
 

What leadership positions in the community do you hold?

I hold several board positions with area technology and education advisory organizations, focusing on the influence and advancement of information technology in the professional community as well as education opportunities for individuals in the IT workforce through speakers, courses and sessions, mentoring and social networking.

President during 2007, 2008 for the local chapter of AITP, Association of Information Technology Professionals.

Professional mentor on the Student Advisory Board of ITT Technical Institute.

Member of HTCIA and Treasurer of the local chapter for High Tech Crimes Investigation Association.
 

Family information

My wife, Jennifer and I have two sons, Alex and Breadyn. We have been members of Eastminster since June 2002.

As my wife and I have been witnesses to the blessings of my father through his commitment to the Lord as a minister and servant, we too desire to be servants of the Lord and be witnesses to others.
