I know you all have heard the buzz … it’s time to enroll your child for preschool. Most preschools in this area are taking enrollments for the 2012 - 2013 school year and we are doing the same here at Eastminster Preschool. It’s that most wonderful time of the year! Yes, it is when you get to be with young children every day and share in their excitement of the holidays. One of the things we like to share with our children at preschool is the tradition of giving gifts. What great discussions we have had as the children imagine what gifts were brought to Baby Jesus on that first Christmas and what they think those gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh really were!  [more] »

What a busy month of October we had at preschool. Every week during the month we had a special activity. We started October by having Wear Orange Day to celebrate the color of orange. We had some really interesting outfits of orange and it was even fun to see the orange the teachers wore that day. All of the classes made some wonderful orange snacks, some very healthy, and some included orange icing!  [more] »

I love this time of year.  Our kids are over their beginning of school “jitters” and are learning and laughing and singing and socializing.  The weather is so nice and cool, the fall colors are beautiful, and it is football season! What is not to love about fall?  [more] »
