What do you love most about your job at Eastminster?

That God has a plan and through life’s everyday turns and tangles, in spite of us and through us, he orchestrates life-changing and world-changing events. His purpose – his timing – to him be the glory.

Other than Jesus, who has had the greatest impact on your life?

I had a third grade Sunday school teacher, Mrs. Jermark, who told us we could do anything and be anything because God made each of us individually for a particular purpose in a particular place.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I love to sew.

What are you reading right now?

For the Family by Sylvia Gunter

What is one of your proudest moments?

It’s a toss up between watching each of my three children graduate from their college studies and attending the baptisms of each of my four grandchildren.

What is your favorite food?

Popcorn

What’s your favorite movie?

The Blind Side

Is there a Bible verse God is currently using in your life?

1 Chronicles 16:11 – “Look to the Lord and His strength, seek His face always.”

What’s your biggest challenge?

Knowing and accepting my own limitations and learning to live with them.

Tell us about your family:

I have a wonderful husband, Gary, and three grown children, Heather, Hilary and Brandon. Heather lives in Prairie Village with husband Mike and two daughters Fern and Iris. Hilary lives here in Wichita with husband Josh and son Ethan and daughter Julia. Brandon lives north of Wellington and works in auto restoration at Auburn-Cord Parts in Wellington.
