How did you first come to Eastminster?
In 2008, I had a roommate that was searching for a church family. I came with her one Sunday and have attended ever since.
What do you love most about your job at Eastminster?
I love working with everyone at the church, staff and volunteers included. Everybody here is so kind and willing to help; it's awesome being able to work in such a wonderful environment. I am blessed to be able to work with so many different ministries.
Other than Jesus, who has had the greatest impact on your life?
I would have to say that my whole family, along with many wonderful mentors, have shaped me into the person I am today. I have been blessed to have such wonderful people in my life.
What is something most people don’t know about you?
Most people do not know that I love to do puzzles. It is one of my favorite hobbies!
What are you reading right now?
Along with the Bible, I am reading Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. What an awesome book!
What is one of your proudest moments?
A few years ago, my dad and I completed a triathlon together. It was great having him coach me and push me to my limits during my training. Not very many people get to do an activity like that with their parents; it was an awesome adventure.
What is your favorite food?
I am a very picky eater, but some of my favorites include: grilled chicken, fruit, ice cream and cereal.
What’s your favorite movie? Or, who is your favorite musician/composer/band?
My favorite movie is Remember the Titans. I am not sure that I have a favorite musician, but I enjoy Christian and Country music.
Is there a Bible verse God is currently using in your life?
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me—Philippians 4:13.
What’s your biggest challenge?
My biggest challenge right now is learning how to manage my time between spending time with God, family, friends, and activities.
Tell us about your family:
Recently married, I am a new wife to my husband, Cameron. We will be married a year this September and marriage has been awesome! We are so blessed that God has brought us together.
Growing up, I had a very large family. I am the second oldest child in a family with six children. I have three brothers and two sisters. I loved growing up in a big family; there was always someone to hang out with.
