Your day job?

Minister of Spiritual Growth. I help people discover the thrill of living a vital Christian life through spiritual growth and transformation.

What do you like to do on your time off?

Exploring new places with my family, anything athletic (watch or play), great Mexican food, steaks on the grill and then a good movie, playing with my dog, cheering my son’s games, laughing with my wife and dreaming up ways to change the world (really!) 

What inspires you?

A plan that comes together, people who choose to do right when they have the option to do wrong, music that moves the feet and stirs the soul, happy people, hearing God’s voice in something simple, thinking of creative things to do, beach life, someone that lines-up their passions with God’s purposes and most of all, a life transformed by Jesus.  

What is your favorite thing about Eastminster?

Is there a verse God is currently using in your life?

My life verse is Colossians 2:6, 7. It drives why I do what I do in ministry: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord continue to live in Him, rooted and built-up established in faith as you were taught, overflowing with thankfulness.”

What team do you cheer for?

Los Angels of Anaheim (whoo hoo!). I practically grew up at Anaheim stadium and still track every game. I’m also a big Shockers fan in every sport.  I even went to the Sweet Sixteen game in Washington, DC several years ago with my son and our family has become big women’s volleyball fans!
