Cross Training Teacher (at Wednesday Night EDGE), Children's Ministries volunteer, member of search committee for the Children's Ministries Director, volunteer driver and coordinator for the senior bus

Which groups or ministries are you active in at the church?

Weekly men’s Bible study, Sunday school, Wednesday EDGE participant and teacher (Cross Training)

What is your profession outside of Eastminster?

I have had a 23-year career in education, all with the Wichita Public Schools; fourteen years as a math teacher, coach and Athletic Director at Southeast High School. I am currently serving as the Director of Athletics for the Wichita Public Schools.

What leadership positions in the community do you hold?

Volunteer youth sports coach, member and officer (current President) of the Genesis Foundation for Fitness and Health, current member and past president of the KIAAA, member of the KSHSAA Board of Directors, Meet Director for KSHSAA State Track and Field Championship meet held each May at Wichita State

Family information

My wife, Diann, and I celebrated our 20th anniversary this past summer. We are blessed with four great children,  Hope (sophomore at East, 15), Jacob (8th grader at Robinson, 13), Nathaniel (6th grader at Robinson, 12) and Abigail (4th grader at Hyde, 9 yrs old).
